Unified Packet-Switched Gateway UGW9811
This unified packet gateway for mobile Packet-Switched (PS) networks is a core of element of PS services in GSM-R networks. It combines the functions of multiple gateways in a single platform, yet still can be conveniently managed as a single gateway.
For GSM-R networks in particular, it functions as a Gateway General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Support Node (GGSN). It can also be used as a gateway to the evolution to eLTE broadband services.
