| The Helicorder® Model RV-301B was designed to fulfill a need in the data handling industry for a long-term recorder which produces an extremely compact record. The Heat Writing Helicorder® uses heat-sensitive paper which eliminates the maintenance associated with ink writing stylus. The Ink Writing Helicorder® is designed for applications where low power consumption is a critical requirement. An inexpensive recording paper accommodates a semifast drying ink which is readily available. Both heat and ink versions are available with rectilinear pens. The curvilinear pen is available in heat writing only. Signals are recorded in helical format on 96.5 x 30 cm paper. Selection of recording speeds is simple and provides records up to 72 hours in duration. One, two or three channel models are available. The RV-301B mounts in a standard 19-inch-wide console opening. | |
