The Model 45.50 Compact Remote Station
(CRS) is a unique enclosure system that utilizes a simple, versatile
method of mounting and electrically connecting the CRS seismic
modules. The resulting packageis small, lightweight, and provides
exceptional analog performance at an economical price.
The CRS System consists of amplifiers, VCO's, I/O systems, multiplexers, digitizers, and radios. Electrical connection between the modules is provided through a ribbon cable harness within the enclosure. The 45.50 module provides internal mounting for up to eight CRS modules and two radio transmitters or receivers. The complete enclosure is small enough to fit inside a typical seismometer vault: 35.6 cm (H) x 30.5 cm (W) x 15.3 cm (D). |
